ACDP calls for reversal of abortion ruling

The African Christian Democratic Party says the fight to reverse legalised abortions should be taken to the Constitutional Court. The party has participated in a small anti-abortion protest in Cape Town and Bloemfontein to mark the ninth anniversary of the legalisation of abortions in the country.
Speaking at the protest outside Cape Town's Marie Stopes clinic, Cheryllyn Dudley, the ACDP member of parliament, said too many unborn babies were being murdered. Martha Dene, the ACDP spokesperson in the Free State, says other alternatives to abortion should be considered.
